This is an adults only group for musicians looking to start playing in a group setting, under the coaching and instruction of a professional musician and experienced teacher. At the end of the session there will be an opportunity for a performance and/or recording of a single song.

Randy has been a Guitar, Bass, and Ensemble instructor on the North Shore for 30 years. He specializes in rock, blues, and funk, with a focus on improvisation and songwriting. Taking on all ages, he personalizes his lessons to best suit the student’s individual goals.

He runs bands and ensembles and is currently working with bands like Family Tree, SOS, Welcome Mat, Runaway After Dark, TTR
and the BMA-nominated and New England Music Award-winning Exit 18. These amazing bands have done shows at venues like 9 Wallis, the Middle East in Cambridge, and the Hard Rock Cafe and have also had the chance to record some of their own music.

In addition to fronting his own bands from Sugar Daddy to Hot Fire, he’s also lead guitarist in the Erinn Brown Band and a sought-after musician/producer.
